Developed economies such as Europe Union and the United States are the principal contributor. However, the growth was largely due to cross-border merger and acquisitions (M&As), with only a limited contribution from greenfield investment projects. Developing Asia remained the largest FDI recipient region in the world. Flows faltered in Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean, excluding offshore financial centers. The panelists will share their views of the 2016 and the future trends, as well as the strategies for a high yield of FDI.
